August-Oh Fest is an event brought to you by the Wausau 525. It is a action packed weekend filled with Quad/Motorcycle Racing, a WTPA Truck/tractor Pull, and a Collector Truck/Tractor show. Final proceeds from this exciting event will go into Flip's Fund.
This will be an annual event and this year it will be held the weekend of August 19-21, 2016 Here is the schedule;
Friday:
-Quad Racing and Motorcycle Practice starting at 6pm
(Gates open at 4:00 pm)
Saturday:
-Tractor/Truck Pull put on by the WTPA (Wisconsin Tractor Pullers Association)
(Gates open at 4pm, tractor pull begins at 6pm)
-Performance by Cody Earl in the Lube Room
Sunday:
-AMA Motorcycle Racing
(Gates open/Practice starts at 11am, racing begins at noon)
Flip’s Fund is a licensed charity that donates funds to local families with critically-ill children, local high school scholarships, the Boy Scouts, the Lions Club, Locks of Love, The Wunsch Foundation, and others. 2014 marked the 10th anniversary of Flip’s Fund, which was created in memory of Philip “Flip” Merwin who was killed in a 2003 snowmobile accident.
